If they go offensive line at #18, they could go with Jonah Williams, Dalton Risner Eric Kendricks Jersey , or perhaps even Chris Lindstrom.Trade Down Possible, But Not LikelyI suspect if the draft plays out as above, the Vikings wouldn’t mind trading down a few spots to get an extra pick.But there may not be a trading partner willing to give enough to make it worthwhile for the Vikings.Trae Waynes is Traded for a High Second Round Pick or EquivalentThere hasn’t been any news on a potential Trae Waynes trade for draft pick(s) since it was first reported during the Owners Meeting last month.Holton Hill being suspended for four games, given Mike Hughes’ ACL, may throw a wet blanket on that idea, but it’s not out of the question for Waynes to be dealt this weekend either, especially with Hughes ahead of schedule in his recovery/rehab.Kansas City had been a rumored landing place for Waynes, but since the deal for Frank Clark, the Chiefs suddenly don’t have so much draft capital to spend.They still have two 2nd round picks Infant Marcus Epps Jersey , one of which they got for Marcus Peters, and both of those could secure a trade.The Chiefs need a starting CB very badly and are unlikely to get one at #61.Or #63. But they could get an immediate starter in Waynes that fits their scheme, is experienced, and could secure a starting job for several years.Chiefs are clearly in win now mode and need to upgrade their defense to get to the next level.There may be some other interested parties as well - 49ers and Raiders potentially.And there is this little tidbit from Rick Spielman too:The Vikings Draft Three Offensive LinemenObviously the Vikings’ biggest need is at offensive line, and they don’t neglect it this time - picking an offensive lineman each day of the draft.The Vikings End Up With at Least 10 Draft PicksIt’s well known Spielman likes to have 10 draft picks, and between trading Trae Waynes and other draft moves, he’ll end up with at least that many.The Vikings Will Draft a TE, a RB, and a WRThe running back will most likely be Devine Ozigbo Marcus Epps Jersey nfl draft , the preference on tight end is Jace Sternberger (not sure they’ll land him or not), and I’ll go out on a limb and say they’ll draft Jalen Hurd as well.There Could Be Movement With Other Players TooMost likely Laquon Treadwell could be dealt for minimal compensation or as part of some other deal.Your Predictions ?Let us know what you think will happen with the Vikings this draft weekend!Minnesota Vikings officially sign Dan Bailey, waive Stacy Coley On Tuesday afternoon, the Minnesota Vikings made official one of the moves that we first mentioned to you on Monday, and the corresponding move comes as a bit of a surprise.Minnesota has officially added kicker Dan Bailey to the roster. Bailey, who currently stands as the second-most accurate kicker in NFL history, was the kicker for the Dallas Cowboys from 2011 to 2017, but was released during the final cutdowns this preseason because, well Cheap Marcus Epps Jersey , Jerry Jones wanted to get his kicker on the cheap. He’s apparently passed his physical and joined the Vikings on a one-year deal.To make room for Bailey, since the team cut Daniel Carlson yesterday, the Vikings waived second-year wide receiver Stacy Coley. Coley, a seventh-round pick of the Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft, had been active for both of the Vikings’ games this season as the team’s #4 receiver. With the team adding receiver Aldrick Robinson yesterday, they still have five receivers on the main roster.The Coley move is a bit of a surprise. He was injured for much of Training Camp, and beat out quite a few other solid players to make the 53-man roster. I wouldn’t be surprised if the team brought him back to the practice squad. I also wouldn’t be surprised if another NFL team in need of receiver help picked him up. We’ll have to see how it shakes out.The Vikings will have to make one more roster move at some point today or tomorrow when the signing of defensive tackle Tom Johnson (which we mentioned earlier today as well) becomes official. It’s going to be interesting to see where the Vikings make room for Sebastian Thunderbucket, but when the news comes down we will have it for you.
