It was nice to see we picked up right where we left off on the 1.5-mile tracks.?Martin Truex Jr. was my top pick early in the week, and I stuck with him through the weekend as my top high-value pick. He didnt lead the most laps, but his 67 fastest laps were about double that of any other driver, and those are worth a half-point each, which gave Truex 92.5 DraftKings points per race.Hopefully you ran with my weekend midvalue picks,?Chase Elliott, Jimmie Johnson and Ryan Blaney, because they finished with the second-, third- and fourth-highest point totals. All were under $9,000, and all put up between 64 and 85.75 points. But now were moving away from the 1.5-mile tracks for a couple weeks and heading to New Hampshire this weekend. Its just barely over a mile and quite flat. Its a unique track, but Id lump it in with tracks such as Phoenix and Richmond -- flatter, shorter tracks.Passing is tough at New Hampshire, and thats evidenced by those stats I love so much. In the past five races at the track, no driver has started worse than 28th and finished inside the top 10. In fact, the only driver with a start-finish differential greater than 20 in the past five New Hampshire races is Greg Biffle, who has reached that mark in the past two races at the track.Tough passing also means youre likely to see drivers get out front for a chunk of laps. Earlier this year at New Hampshire, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. both went more than 120 laps led, and no other driver led more than 38. Last year, Kevin Harvick led 216 laps, and the second-most was 27.Another thing to keep in mind: A Joe Gibbs Racing or Team Penske car has won each of the past six races at this track, with Matt Kenseth picking up three of those victories.Heres what Im thinking early in the week, but check back after qualifying for my final picks and fades.Im starting my team with:I just talked up Gibbs and Penske, but Im going in a different direction to start my roster with?Kevin Harvick. Harvick finished 20th at Chicago and was fuming after a bad break that got him caught a lap down. Circumstances made it so that he couldnt make up that lap, so dont knock him for finishing 20th.In fact, I like Harvick coming off a middling Chase finish. The past two years with this format, he has shown an ability to come back and win to get into the next round of the Chase. Check out the 2014 Phoenix or 2015 Dover races for proof.Harvicks performance recently at New Hampshire should be enough to help him move on. He didnt lead there earlier this season, but he did have 29 fastest laps and a fourth-place finish. The three races prior to that, he averaged 126.3 laps led, 63.3 fastest laps and 94.9 DraftKings points per race.Keep an eye on these four:Martin Truex Jr.: The pressures off for Truex, as his Chicago win punches his ticket into the next round of the Chase, NASCARs version of the playoffs. As per usual, dont look too deeply into Truexs history at any track; hes running entirely different than he did earlier in his career. Instead, look at the fact that he led 123 and 193 laps in the past two races at shorter, flatter tracks (New Hampshire in July and Richmond two weeks ago).Kyle Busch: I like to give three top-level drivers for this section, as I figure thats whom youll build your roster around for the week. I liked Brad Keselowski and Matt Kenseth here too but opted for Busch because he has higher top-end potential. Busch has finished ninth or better in the past seven races on short, flat tracks and has led at least 48 laps in six of the nine New Hampshire races, topped by the 133 he led earlier this season.Greg Biffle: This pick is 100 percent based on start-finish differential, so I like him only with a starting spot of 20th or lower. In four of the past five races at New Hampshire, he has started 25th-28th but finished 16th or better in all four, with a pair of top-five finishes. Despite totals of 12 laps led and one fastest lap in those races, he has an average of 41.9 DraftKings points per race.Ryan Newman: Newman is also available for a lower price, but he does some of his best work at New Hampshire. Picking up a fourth career win at the track is extremely unlikely for him, but he was seventh here earlier this year, and in the five races before that, he finished 10th, 11th, 18th, fifth and 16th. In three seasons with Richard Childress Racing (not the strongest equipment Newman has driven in his career), hes averaging 43.3 DraftKings points per race at New Hampshire, sixth among all drivers.Thats all I have for you this week. Its fall in the northeast, so get an apple pie -- a la mode if youre feeling adventurous. Randall Cunningham Jersey . "Were just throwing s--- at the wall hoping something sticks," said Tortorella about the possible line combinations for Fridays game against Columbus. The Canucks have lost five straight games and six of their last seven, leaving them in a logjam in the Pacific Division, currently sitting fifth - good for ninth in the Western Conference. JJ Arcega-Whiteside Eagles Jersey . -- In one brief spurt, Brazil turned a close game into a rout and proved again it will be a strong World Cup favourite. https://www.eaglessportsgoods.com/Womens-Herman-Edwards-Inverted-Jersey/ . Anthony Calvillo, through 20 CFL seasons, was frequently invincible and largely stoic in the heat of competition. But underneath the professional exterior he was, and is, compellingly human. Fletcher Cox Youth Jersey . Robredo, ranked No. 16, bounced back from an upset loss to Leonardo Mayer in the second round of the Royal Guard Open in Chile last week to down Carreno Busta in 1 hour, 25 minutes. On a day filled mostly with qualifying matches, fifth-seeded Marcel Granollers of Spain also entered the second with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 win over Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia, while Guido Pella of Argentina defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 7-6 (6), 6-4 to advance. Miles Sanders Youth Jersey . Giroud, who wasnt in the starting lineup for two matches after allegations about his private life and a decline in form, scored twice in the first half. Tomas Rosickys chip made it 3-0 before half time at Emirates Stadium, while defender Laurent Koscielny scored an unmarked header in the second half. PARIS, France -- Is it possible in life to be given too much of a good thing? Does the security guard tasked with keeping a watchful eye on the Mona Lisa day in, day out, long for the opportunity to leave Le Louvre and cast their eye on something a bit more tawdry?Taking in New Zealands clinical 24-19 defeat of France at the Stade de France, it was only natural to ponder whether we have come to take the world champions for granted. Victory was their 21st in their last 22 Test matches, and means that another unbeaten streak is beginning to be built. All of which was achieved with Steve Hansens side rarely out of second gear in attack. It was another committed defensive effort but, in truth, France only had themselves to blame for not breaching the All Blacks try line until the 62nd minute. As in Dublin seven days previously, New Zealand sealed victory despite seeing very little of the ball -- they managed just 38 percent possession in the opening 40 minutes here.Ireland proved recently in both Chicago -- where they ended New Zealands world record winning run -- and Dublin that this All Blacks team will give you chances. Capitalise on those opportunities and they are beatable; pass them up and they will punish you.France will leave the Stade de France clutching onto the positives having created five try-scoring opportunities in the first 30 minutes alone. But crucially it was through their own mistakes that they were undone. Had anyone in dark blue shown an ounce of the composure that comes naturally to those wearing white in Paris, then the scoreline would have been markedly different. However, on too many occasions when the pressure was cranking up on the All Blacks, France responded with a forced pass or a knock on. A scrambled defence suddenly had possession to protect, a booming clearance later and the pressure was released.Part of the credit for that, of course, goes to New Zealands ferocious defence but it is no coincidence that confidence drained from the French players as the try line approached. It is an affliction that fans of Northern Hemisphere sides are well used to when faced by one of the big three from the south. And as Hansen and his pplayers head for home, will any of that matter to them? They might not have had an awful lot of the ball, but when they had it they were clinical.ddddddddddddIndeed, Beauden Barretts drilled kick-pass to Julian Savea for the opening try was almost identical to the one that found Malakai Fekitoa in Ireland last weekend. The main difference being that it was put into action around 40 metres further back, and without the luxury of a stretched defence in opposition. Frances rearguard was limp as Savea passed inside for Israel Dagg to scamper over, having punched themselves out in attack for much of the preceding six minutes. It is not something that you can often say about the All Blacks, and is proof that their composure in those pressure moments is not something that should be taken for granted. In fact it is the very reason they seem so formidable to their opponents. The first try again is a case in point. It may have looked easy from the stands or on TV, but there were several skills that needed to be enacted perfectly. Barretts cross-filed kick is useless if it is an inch or two further left or right, Savea in turn needs to catch the ball, while evading Noa Nakaitaci, and then offload to Dagg in support. Any of those skills could falter, but they didnt. That is the result of hours spent on the training pitch, but it is also the product of having the confidence to try it in a game, and for it all to come off. Time and again. The ability that the All Blacks bring to their game in attack in turn feeds into their aura. France felt the pressure when they entered the New Zealand 22 in part because they knew that their opponents would punish any slip-ups. If the All Blacks enter the pitch with an advantage, it is because every other team in the world knows the speed with which they can turn defence into attack. This might not have been a vintage performance from Hansens side but it was ruthlessly clinical, and that is something that should be applauded. Especially when it is the very thing that their opponents struggle to match. ' ' '
