According to Carpenter, Washington general manager Bruce Allen believes that Williams will eventually reach a point where he does not want to lose any more money and will return to the team.As to what Redskins would want in return to Williams, a high draft pick would certainly be part of the conversation, and it would not be a surprise if Washington wanted a young player in the deal as well.Whether or not Dorsey is comfortable giving up another first-round pick a year after sending one to the Giants in the Beckham trade remains to be seen.
